How to set Password Protected Folder without any Software in Windows

Any things in folder sometime we don’t want to show another to know about it! And we have many ways to keep it secret. Sometime they copy to flash, cloud or using application to keep it! But if we lost flash, how can we do? If no internet how can we download? If we don’t have best application name or our application trail what’s can we do? Anyways we really lazy to install Application also.

So now I want to show you how to keep it without use application by use Batch Script in Command Prompt. This’s many step to show you how to do it. Let's start :
NOTE:  You must to remember your password.
1. Open your “Notepad” by Right Click on Desktop choose “NEW”  –> “Text Document”.

2. Open that notepad and write this Batch Script in your notepad (you can copy my Batch Script and paste) Click here to Download Batch Script
NOTE:  In that Batch Script, you need to put your password in PASSWORD_GOES_HERE(You must to remember your Password).

 3. After that Save As this code and click on your place that you want to save (I will save to desktop). Then you need to put file name *.bat (save file to bat) and choose type of file to All File (I save put file name is Locker.bat).

This is result that after we save it:

4. Double click on “Locker.bat” you will see a new folder name “Private” appear. In this case, you can copy any documents, folders, videos, songs, photos …. Anything else paste in this folder.

5. After you copy and paste your files that you want to keep it already, you just double click on “Locker.bat” again. And press Y to Hide Folder name “Private” and Press N toCancel for hide. Right now I choose Y, So folder “Private” have been hide.

6. Anyways at the last step, if you want to show “Private Folder back, you just double click on “Locker.bat again and type your password that you have to put in script (in Step 2), “Private” Folder it will appear.

HOT NOTE:
But if you forget password or you delete “Locker.bat“, you can solve it without lost your files in “Private. These many step to solve:
1. Press Alt to show Manu Bar (in Windows7) then choose “Tools –> ” Folder Options…
2. After that click “View” and choose “Show hidden files, folders, and drives and then click “OK“. Back to your place you will see folder that we hide.
